Blogger Homework - My Favorite Book

I started this blog a long time ago, and then never posted anything. So now I've signed up for an online blogging "class" in the hopes that maybe it will motivate me to be more blog savvy.
Our first assignment is to create a post about a favorite book.

I always enjoy anything by Christopher Moore. The first of his books that I read was "Practical Demonkeeping." We were on vacation in Cannon Beach, OR and I made my annual trip to Cannon Beach Book Company to see what new staff recommendations were waiting to be discovered. As soon as I saw the cover, my interest was sparked, and as soon as I read the first few pages, I was hooked. Now I'm a Christopher Moore junkie. I can't get enough. It's like a drug. Or more appropriately, like chocolate cake late at night when the girls are asleep and the hubby is at work. It's tough to describe his writing style other than quirky, a little dark, and funny as heck. I think I'm in love. There, I said it.
